Corporate Partners

The Missouri EMS Funeral Response Team's 2026-2027 Corporate/Individual Partnership Program was created to provide financial support for the team's mission to Honor EMS and telecommunication providers. This includes those who make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, active EMS and dispatcher personnel who pass away while serving, and retirees whom organizations wish to recognize for their years of service. The team never charges a family, air service, telecommunication organization, funeral home, or ambulance district when responding to help honor their hero.
Your support helps the team continue honoring EMS and telecommunications providers with dignity and respect, while also assisting families during their time of loss. Together, we can ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.
Our Mission
To ensure that every EMS provider and telecommunication specialist receives a dignified visitation, funeral or memorial service with the honors and respect that they deserve for their service, dedication, bravery, and commitment to their community.
About the Missouri EMS Funeral Response Team
The Missouri EMS Funeral Response Team was founded in late 2009 by a paramedic/retired Marine who understood the crucial need for a statewide EMS team to honor those who served in this public safety sector. In November, 2025 Telecommunication specialist, (Dispatchers) was added to the response of the team.
The Missouri EMS Funeral Response Team is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by a board of directors. Its members are volunteers from across Missouri who currently serve, or have served, in EMS or telecommunications roles. The logistics and support part of the team is also made up of volunteers, including members’ spouses, friends, and others who want to assist the team and support families of the fallen. The team trains to National Honor Guard Academy standards and meets five to six times each year at locations throughout the state. In November telecommunication specialists were added to team callouts. The team now has more than 60 members statewide. As of June 1, 2026, it has responded to more than 240 requests in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, and Arkansas.
Upon request, the team assists with visitation and funeral logistics to respectfully honor fallen EMS professionals and telecommunication specialists. Paramedics, EMTs, flight crews, EMS leaders, and telecommunication personnel deserve services that include ceremonial customs and procedures recognizing their commitment to public service, safety, and compassion. These customs may vary depending on whether the individual died in the line of duty, while off duty, or after retirement. The team maintains five trailers stationed across the state, each equipped with the supplies needed to honor an organization’s hero.
The team relies on ongoing support to cover daily operating costs, including insurance, its website, equipment, trailers, and an 800-number contact line. Each response also brings additional expenses. Without the generosity of clubs, organizations, companies, partners, individuals, and member-led fundraisers, the team would not be able to honor fallen EMS professionals and telecommunication specialists.

Trailer Sponsor
The Missouri EMS Funeral Response Team occasionally needs to replace equipment trailers, which carry the supplies required to honor fallen EMS professionals and telecommunication specialists. The team maintains five trailers positioned across the state so the closest trailer can respond when a request is received. For line-of-duty deaths, two trailers may respond.
When a replacement trailer is needed, the board will assign the Executive Director or Deputy Executive Director to present the proposed cost for approval. The recommended trailer should be the appropriate size, such as a 7-foot-wide by 14-(preferred) or 16-foot-long V-nose trailer, and should be charcoal or black in color. The trailer will be lettered or wrapped with the team’s logos and will display the trailer sponsor’s logo and the signage, “This trailer made possible by the support of _____,” on each side. The funeral team will maintain insurance on the trailer and its contents. If the trailer is damaged in an accident or otherwise destroyed, the sponsor’s name will be placed on the replacement trailer.
Because of the cost of these trailers, two organizations may partner to sponsor one together. Each organization’s cost is $4,500, and both names will be displayed on each side as described above.
The sponsor’s logo and signage will remain on the trailer for as long as it is able to serve its purpose. When the trailer is no longer usable, the Missouri EMS Funeral Response Team will sell it, and the board of directors will determine how the proceeds are used.
If at such time the team receives a trailer sponsor, and a trailer is not needed at that time, the executive director will contact the sponsor with alternative options.
Sponsoring a Fundraiser
Organizations, clubs, and other groups may host a fundraiser to support the Missouri EMS Funeral Response Team. The executive director, deputy executive director, or their designee will help the organization plan and carry out the event, including discussing the type of fundraiser and proposed date. For more information, contact Executive Director George Wright or Deputy Executive Director Ed Angle.
